Beşiktaş JK's long-time member Serdar Keskin has announced his candidacy for the Divan Kurulu Presidency. Keskin aims to contribute to the club's future with his experience and dedication to the club's values. On May 29, 2025, Keskin stated that as a 51-year general assembly member, he is ready to contribute to the club's future. Serdar Keskin spent 11 years of his 20-year volleyball career as a player and team captain for Beşiktaş Voleybol Takımı. He has also held important responsibilities such as Divan Başkanlık Kurulu membership and temporary Management Board membership. In his statement, Keskin said, 'Beşiktaş is not just a sports club, but also a way of life.' He will offer his experience, knowledge, and sense of belonging to the Divan Kurulu for the benefit of the club. After 28 years of public service at the Ministry of Customs and Trade and retiring in 2002, Serdar Keskin has been working as a Customs Consultant at his own company since 2003. He has served as Vice President of the Istanbul Customs Consultants Association for three terms and has been the Chairman of the Board for five terms. He is also a member of the 25th Professional Committee of the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce. In addition to sports, Serdar Keskin is also active in cultural and social areas, serving as a founding member and Vice President of the Vefa High School Education Foundation. Since 1976, he has been working as a chorister, soloist, and member of the Board of Directors at the Emin Ongan Üsküdar Music Society. He has also served as a founding member of the Turkish Volleyball Foundation and as a member of the Board of Directors of the Turkish Volleyball Federation for two terms.
